Grant recipients are given the opportunity to sign a one-year exclusive-rights deal with Getty Images whereby their work could be marketed and available for license to customers worldwide through gettyimages.com, while retaining copyright of their imagery.
Next grant application deadlines

Three grants will be announced in September 2008.
Please note that applications for the three $20,000 grants awarded in September 2008 must be postmarked by May 15, 2008.
November 15, 2008
Two grants will be announced in February 2009.
Please note that applications for the two $20,000 grants awarded in February 2009 must be postmarked by November 15, 2008.
